Rare set of four chairs with a monolithic structure inspired by the famous Zig-Zag model by Gerrit Rietveld. This Dutch production from the 1970s is distinguished by its proportions that are particularly faithful to the original design and by its high-quality construction in ash veneer. The craftsmanship highlights the radical geometry of the model through precise joinery, careful mitre cuts, and beautifully showcased grain. Each chair features an integrated handle on the backrest for easy handling. The dimensions correspond to the historical proportions of the Zig-Zag model: width 37 cm, depth 47 cm, height 75 cm, seat height 42 cm. Each chair weighs approximately 10 kg, reflecting a particularly robust and high-quality construction. Overall, they are in good condition. Some slight imperfections and signs of use on the veneer are noted, consistent with the age and normal use of these pieces for over fifty years.
