Pair of "ZIG ZAG" Chairs by the designer Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. Original model from the 1970s, in exceptional condition. The Zig Zag chair is a piece of furniture designed by the Dutch designer and cabinetmaker Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1934. Composed of 3 wooden boards arranged in a Z shape with a fourth for the backrest, this chair, based on the minimalist concept, is typical of the minimalist and constructivist movement "De Stijl." This piece of furniture, characterised by a sense of instability, was an aesthetic revolution in the early 1930s.
