New product. Ideal when going down a bed. Unlike berber rugs with wool strands knotted one after the other, kilim is a flat-woven rug and is therefore less dense and thick. Kilim is a turkish word meaning woven textile, it is used throughout the arab world where flat woven carpets are made. Like the berber carpets, kilim carries a very strong cultural identity and represents the tribe in which it is woven. Thus, its patterns, colors and wool vary according to its geographical origin. It can be white or ecru, decorated with black or brown patterns or a profusion of shimmering colors. So you're spoilt for choice when choosing the one that best suits your interior design!
