Pichet Gabriel Fourmaintraux (GF) model Edelweiss

This jug (or rather vase nowadays!!) in Desvres earthenware is a vintage piece dating from the 1950s-1960s. It is signed by Gabriel Fourmaintraux (GF) and bears the mention "Handmade" along with its model number under the base. It is the Edelweiss model, adorned with stylised flowers in slight relief on a matte black background. The object is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Height: 15 cm. Diameter of the neck: 8 cm. Total width (with handle): 13 cm. An emblematic piece of popular art from this period, ideal for chalet or retro-style decoration.
