Vintage Jug Signed Les Grottes Dieulefit, 1950

Large pitcher or handcrafted jug in glazed terracotta, from the pottery town of Dieulefit. Authentic piece from the 1950s/1960s, signed underneath: "Les Grottes Dieulefit". Beautiful rounded and swollen shape, typical of the rustic modernist style of the time, with a spout and a wide handle. Amber honey colour with shades of umber, finished with a glossy glaze. Very good condition. Dimensions: Height 17 cm. Width of body 15 cm without the handle.
