Sculptural Italian Space Age table lamp by Leucos, produced in Italy during the 1970s and retaining its original Leucos and Vetri Murano labels. The lamp combines a distinctive ribbed white Murano glass body with a broad black glass shade edged in clear glass and a black lacquered metal base. The dramatic geometric profile and contrasting monochrome palette create a strong architectural presence typical of sophisticated Italian lighting design of the era. An excellent example of collectible 1970s Italian modern lighting, equally suited to Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, Postmodern and contemporary interiors.
