Beautiful jug (vase-pitcher with a handle) in faience from the Belgian manufacturer H. Bequet, Quaregnon — "Made in Belgium" mark visible under the base. Deep black background entirely covered with a hand-painted floral decoration: pink daisies, orange and violet flowers, turquoise green foliage, with golden highlights on the handle and edges. A typical piece of Belgian production from the 1950s-60s, very decorative. Small chip on the side of the spout.
