19th-century Biedermeier mahogany secretary desk with a beautiful grain. This piece features three drawers at the bottom, a drop-down front, and a narrow drawer beneath the cornice. It is topped with a straight, slightly protruding cornice. The drop-down front is flanked by small columns, and the interior houses an additional sliding desk covered in felt, a central storage compartment, and two rows of drawers. The pyramidal mahogany veneer with a beautiful grain makes this secretary a highly decorative piece. The secretary desk has been fully restored and finished with shellac. Visible signs of cracks are present on both sides. The item was made in Germany in 1850 and represents Biedermeier and Vintage styles. Please note that rosewood items are subject to special export processes, which may extend the delivery time by an additional 2 to 4 weeks. Detailed condition: very good with a polished, repaired, and revarnished surface, but some cracks remain visible.
