Mahogany drop-leaf secretary, Louis Philippe

Louis Philippe secretary in mahogany and flame mahogany veneer, opening with 3 drawers at the bottom and revealing a series of drawers and secrets under the flap in a very light wood, providing a nice contrast. The bright colour of the mahogany, the light interior theatre, and the overall simplicity are appreciated. However, visible splits, varnish touch-ups, a slightly tilted flap, and a later grey marble top are noted.
