Pair of antique oak windows with original casement – 19th century. The raw charm of the old to enhance your interior. A true testament to the artisanal craftsmanship of the 19th century, this magnificent double-leaf window made of solid oak has a unique character. It is presented in its original state, with its superb original white patina that gives it all its authenticity and a "family home" or "shabby chic" spirit. • Original hardware: It is equipped with its genuine functional antique cast iron casement (button closure system and rods), a highly sought-after architectural detail. • Made of oak, a noble, heavy, and extremely durable wood. The original panes are still in place. • Sold complete with its frame (reveal). Both leaves open perfectly. This window is a centrepiece for a decoration or renovation project. You can use it to: • Create a stunning workshop separation or a fixed/mobile internal glass wall. • Repurpose it as a large trumeau mirror by replacing the glass with mirrors. • Simply lean it against a wall with a string of lights for a romantic and warm atmosphere. • Main material: Solid oak, cast iron (casement) • Period: Late 19th / Early 20th century. • Condition: Good overall condition sold in its original state (in its original state, patina and signs of time that add to its charm, very sound wooden structure). • Note: One pane missing! Dimensions: • Total dimensions (with frame): Height: 163 cm|Width: 87 cm|Thickness: 5 cm. • Dimensions of the opening (the leaves only): Height: 154 cm|Width: 67 cm. Note: One pane is missing from one window (see photos). The windows are sold in their original state, and they open well. The last photo, where you see a stripped window, is a montage to show you how they can be stripped or sandblasted.
