Magnificent and large antique window in solid oak, sold complete with its original frame (reveal) and its superb functional cast iron locking mechanism. Ideal for a renovation project, creating a room divider in a glasshouse style, or adding historical character to an interior. • Structure: A large set including a fixed arched transom at the top, above a lower section with 3 panels. • Openings: 2 opening panels (hinged) equipped with their old cast iron locking mechanism, and 1 fixed side panel. • Material: Solid oak, healthy wood, superb period patina finish or stripped. • Glazing: Original single glazing present. Complete dimensions: • Overall (with frame): Height 178 cm|Width 170 cm|Frame thickness: 13.5 cm. • Lower section (windows under transom): Height 121 cm. • Width of openings (2 hinged): 103 cm. • Width of fixed section: 53 cm. • Thickness of window profiles: 5 cm (robust joinery of very fine quality) Condition: Sold as is. "In its original condition" good antique state, reflecting its history. The wood is solid and healthy, the fittings and locking mechanism show a very nice old patina.
