Tripod Gueridon from the Charles X Restoration period

Period: early 19th century. Woodwork in generally good condition, marble top in very good condition. Authentic antique piece in solid mahogany and Cuban mahogany burl veneer. The black marble top (thickness 2.5 cm) is supported by a mahogany frieze. Pyramidal base with curved sides ending in griffin feet on casters. It features an original black marble top resting on a substantial solid wood tripod base with concave sides finished with sculpted and moulded claw feet. Diameter of the marble 80 cm – Height under frieze 65 cm – Total height 74 cm. To be collected on site near Etampes (91).
