Pair vintage french fience of moustiers ceramic vase table lamps 4059

Pair french vintage faience of moustiers baulster vase style lamps. The lamps are in a baulster vase shape and are hand painted and decorated in grotesque decoration. The decoration is in the style of the region of moustiers saint marie france. The colours are in yellow, green and blues with floral and character decoration on the fronts and a different bird decoration on the back of each lamp. The vases sit on wooden plinths and have black bulb holders on the top. The lamps have a white flex on/ off switch and a 2 pin european plug. The lamps take 1 X e14 small screw in bulb each. The hand painted ceramic is in lovely vintage condition with bright colours which differ slightly on each lamp to be expected with a hand painted item. There is a spit in the wooden base at the back of one of the lamps please see photo 10.
