Ceramic lamp fat lava

Magnificent lamp whose foot, of beautiful size, is made of openwork ceramic (in the shape of diamonds) in a fat lava style: the dominant brown color is partly covered with a beautiful white frothy glaze, evoking a cappuccino! The foot dates from the 60s or 70s, probably of german origin (west germany), and certainly equipped at the time with a double lighting, one of which illuminated the foot from the inside to let the light filter through the diamond openings. For personal use, I have equipped (with care) this lamp foot, a metal socket of golden bronze color equipped with a dial that makes switch, an electric wire (golden bronze color) and a black color socket. This material is almost new, but I do not know if the socket, although very pretty and of good quality, meets all the standards in force (cardboard insulation inside?). In addition, it is not intended to receive a lampshade. If you wish I leave all this in place and offer it with the lamp foot. But if you want to adapt a lampshade, you will have to modify the electrification (other socket and switch). In this case, in order to avoid the waste of material, I can disassemble the socket in place (it will serve me for a future personal project). Let's talk about it before or after ordering! The lamp foot is in very good condition, neither cracked, nor bright, nor even a stain or ginning! It is 30 cm high, about 27 cm larger in diameter and weighs about 2.1 kg, which is relatively heavy and thus allows to withstand a large lampshade. The bulb used in the photos is not provided.
