Large footed compote in polychrome ironstone Longchamp Daisy.

Magnificent large antique compote on a foot made of ironstone from the Longchamp pottery, model Daisy. A superb piece with a polychrome floral decoration in delicate shades of pink, mauve, red, yellow, and green, enhanced by fine arabesques and foliage. Its elegant tall foot, also decorated with flowers, and its slightly scalloped edges give it a lot of charm. An especially decorative antique piece, ideal for a lovely table, a presentation of fruits or pastries, or to complement a collection service. Overall good condition for its age. There are signs of use with scratches on the bottom of the compote, some stains and old marks on the back, as well as small chips on the foot. These defects are visible in the photographs and do not detract from the charm of this magnificent piece.
