Sarreguemines sauce boat and dish in earthenware with "Obernai" decoration by Henri Loux

This lovely vintage dinnerware set comes from the Sarreguemines factory. This lot consists of a serving dish and a sauce boat. It belongs to the Obernai service painted by Henri Loux in the early 20th century. The serving dish is adorned with a couple of Alsatians dancing in a village, and the sauce boat features peasant allegories with straw hats, flowers, and tools for working in the fields. In good condition, the serving dish measures 26 cm X 16 cm and the sauce boat measures 26.5 cm X 16.5 cm. They bear the mark "Obernai - Faïencerie Sarreguemines - France". Please note: there are two chips on the sauce boat, and it has been reattached to its base. The serving dish has chips on the back and visible stains along the edge.
