Sculptural Vase - Soft Stoneware

Very slowly modeled by hand from soft sandstone, this vase is a unique example, whose shape was dictated naturally by the earth over time. Glossy white glaze has been delicately applied to the interior of the piece to waterproof it, while the exterior is left raw on purpose, to show off the color and natural beauty of this french stoneware. It is beautiful as a sculpture as is, or decorated with fresh or dried flowers. It is an artisanal piece entirely handmade in my ceramic workshop in trégor in brittany. Its small flaws and imperfections are part of its history and the beauty of handmade. Approximate dimensions: height approximately 9-11 cm. Diameter approximately ⌀8-9 cm.
