4x Original labeled Black Costes dining chairs by Philippe Starck

Set of 4 vintage design chairs / dining room chairs model Costes by Philippe Starck (France) for Driade (Italy) in the 1980s. The condition is good, but with some traces of use that match the age and design of this chair. See close-up photos! All chairs are marked at the bottom with the 'Aleph' sticker. The dimensions are as follows: Width: 47 cm Height: 80 cm (backrest) Height: 47 cm (seat) Depth: 54 cm This model is one of his best known, originally designed for the Parisian café Costes. This chair only has three legs, this was not just for design reasons, but also so that the waiters would trip less than half the time when serving. The Costes chair was designed in 1985 (New price: 950 per chair!).
