Intriguing bronze sculpture by Jos van Vreeswijk, Netherlands, 20th century

A refined abstract bronze sculpture by Dutch artist Jos van Vreeswijk. The work combines a rounded, almost organic upper form with a darker, more angular base, creating a strong interplay between smooth surfaces, mass and movement. The contrasting bronze patinas beautifully emphasize the sculptural contours. Presented on a natural stone base, the work has a compact yet powerful presence and can be appreciated from multiple angles. This sculpture is numbered 5 from an edition of 7. About the Artist.
