Mid-Century Modern Extendable Dining Table in Flame Mahogany

This West German Mid-Century Modern dining table features an organic, boat-shaped top in richly figured flame mahogany veneer resting on a sculptural solid beech sled base. Equipped with a heavy-duty synchronized Häfele telescopic rail system, the two halves slide open simultaneously to reveal two internally stored 40 cm extension leaves, extending the table from 130 cm to 170 cm or 210 cm. The warm cognac patina and elegant curves blend effortlessly into both classic Mid-Century modern spaces and refined Japandi-style dining rooms. Please note that the apron clearance of 69 cm (and internal sub-frame height of 62 cm) makes the table best suited for side chairs without armrests. This dining table is in good vintage condition with light, honest patina consistent with age. Any specific flaws or wear are documented in the photos or description.
