Footrest bench, church kneeler

Here is a lovely church footrest bench that was mainly used for kneeling in prayer, hence its name kneeler. It probably dates from the early 20th century and its beautiful patina is a testament to its age. It is made of solid wood. I have thoroughly cleaned it, then treated it against woodworm by brushing and injecting white vinegar (this is my natural method to replace chemical insecticides). I then applied a very light coat of liquid antique wax. It is in generally good condition, sturdy but does not hide its age: there are numerous woodworm holes. It measures 111 cm in length, 10 cm in width, and 13 cm in height. I have a second one in stock, so if you would like two, feel free to contact me via messaging.
