Exceptional piece of Belgian modernist design, this smoking room is an emblematic work of the Art Deco / Streamline Moderne period. It is attributed to the famous Demeyere manufacture, globally recognised for its expertise in working with chrome metal during the interwar years. This "all-in-one" model served as a luxury accessory in bourgeois interiors, combining elegance and functionality. OFTEN BROKEN, this one still has the matchbox holder present. The exceptional condition is noteworthy, with the chrome still gleaming. The glass holder and the rim of the ashtray in Bakelite are also in excellent condition.
