Charming 18th century perspective view entitled "Le Château de Marly du coste de l'entrée". Period print, etched and then hand-colored, depicting one of the most beautiful royal residences of Louis XIV, now lost. Very lively scene: carriages, strollers, soldiers and elegant women in 18th century costumes. Mention "with privilege" at the bottom right, typical of royal editions prior to 1789.
