Georges ponsart, 33cm yellow modernist vase without neck, grand feu salted stoneware, bouffioulx ca 1950. Perfect condition. Georges ponsart (1857 - 1937) was a potter and turner in bouffioulx, belgium. He worked for gustave crame, fernand dubois and for gustave dubois until 1957. He produced an impressive series of artistic stoneware. Not much is known about him, but some of his creations are superb and he mastered the yellow pigment, which was often difficult to obtain at that time.
