Mid-Century Scandinavian Modern Brutalist Art Design Art Pottery, Sweden

A lovely rather large vintage handmade vase known as "mexico" made by the talented and well-known artist mari simmulson for equally famous upsala ekeby in the 60s. It has a dark brown base with fantastic details in the graphic patterns and will be an eye-catching centerpiece. It is signed and in a good condition, some signs of usage on the inside, otherwise in a fantastic condition. It is 23, 5cm (9.25") high and around 11cm (4.33") in diameter.
