Pair of 2 IKEA 'RAANE' pots Limited edition

The Jarpen armchair was designed in 1983 by the Dane Niels Gammelgaard and was sold in a limited but very successful edition by Ikea. These 2 copies are the anniversary edition under the name RÅANE, which were resold for a short time in 2018 due to Ikea's 75th anniversary and then disappeared from the collection again*. That is why the RÅANE is rarely offered online. *The armchair is currently available again at IKEA, in a slightly modified version under the name Skalboda. A great armchair of course, but it is not vintage or collectible... The JARPEN / RÅANE chair has a beautiful graphic play of lines that constantly changes with the light. In addition to its beautiful appearance, the chair also sits surprisingly well. You can put a sheepskin or a pillow on it, but this is not necessary for comfort. This vintage black lacquered wire chair is one of Niels Gammelgaard's best-known minimalist furniture designs. It is not only a beautiful vintage item, but also a true IKEA design classic! Loved and sought after by (IKEA) design lovers and as a collector's item. These examples have been used very little and are therefore in very good condition.
