Rare porcelain plate signed by Douze, Lemaitre Fréres and L. Blancher, a manufacturer specialised in tableware. Present at the 1925 Exhibition of Modern Decorative Arts, the decorations were entirely hand-painted. The company participated in the Aeronautics and Art Exhibition in 1930, as well as the International Colonial Exhibition in 1931 and the Exhibition of Arts and Techniques in 1937, and produced services for Primavera, the art workshop of the department store Printemps.
