Large Coupe "Fat Lava" Volcanic Character Piece (1960/70)

Large bowl or vintage ceramic dish, emblematic of the Fat Lava style from the 1960s/1970s. This model stands out with its generous dimensions and sculptural, mineral appearance. Its wide rim is elegantly crafted with three small artisanal pinches that give it an organic shape. The interior features a "volcanic" glaze in ochre and amber tones with a fascinating cellular relief. The exterior displays a deep chocolate glaze, highlighted by thick white and gold drips in strong relief. Base made of red terracotta, typical of West German manufacturers. A piece in very good condition with beautiful volumes: 29 cm in diameter, 15 cm in height, and a weight of 1644g. An ideal centrepiece for a Mid-Century interior or to complement a collection.
