Two-sided oak counter with drawers, 1900

Old 1900 oak counter, with its very beautiful paneled front, as well as on the side, and its front entirely composed of drawers topped with ornate cast iron shell handles. We love the typical look of the charming counters of the period, the details of the moldings, the sober paneling, the grain and the color of the wood so timeless. The front made up of drawers which are all of a very beautiful finish, with moldings and strips, make this piece of furniture a perfect store counter or central island for a kitchen. Only the top is made of thick plywood, but entirely fitted into opulent solid oak sticks. This piece of furniture has been completely restored, sanded, lightly stained then protected with a transparent matte varnish. Please note, as the counter is old, it may have marks inherent to its age, wear, defects in the wood in places, making it completely authentic. - Total dimensions - l 152 x d 79 x h 80 cm. Drawer dimensions - l 60 x d 60 x h 15 cm.
