Vintage trading counter 60s

Former solid oak trading post from the 60s. This beautiful counter is very unusual and rare for sale. It comes from an old shop selling fabrics. Its graphic details give it a very elegant and totally contemporary look. There is a very nice work of decoration on the front, with its large wooden rods, perfectly affixed in casings, drawing a very interesting and refined pattern. The counter has been totally restored, sanded, treated, varnished, the tray has been changed by my cabinetmaker, also in solid oak. Sliding curtains on each side are present and give access to the angrily central shelves, composed of two long sturdy shelves. The back side of the counter is topped by two drawers. The tray is very thick and has a nice general patina. The counter rests on 4 tapered legs in brass metal patinated by time. We see that the layer of walleye is gone in places. - Total dimensions - l 148 X d 68 X h 89 cm. Drawer dimensions - l 35 X d 49 X h 9 cm. Dimensions of interior storage - l 133 X d 47 X h 20 and 26 cm.
