USSR theatre poster King Lear

Beautiful poster by soviet artist natan altman for performances of shakespeare's "king lear" at the gorky bolshoi theatre in leningrad in 1941. It was reprinted in 1977, along with a set of other theatre posters from the 1920s/30/40s by the aurora art editions of leningrad, of very good quality, on matte paper. This is one of his copies, very rare today. It is in good condition, no tears and never folded; the borders have a little yellow, small crumple on the right border.
