Vintage Patinated Leather Chesterfield Swivel Captain's Armchair

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage tubular captain's chair in hand-dyed brown leather, swivel, with floating buttons in the Thomas Chippendale style on the cushion. This piece is very decorative, with beautifully carved and well-formed legs and armrest panels. The leather was restored some time ago; it has been stripped and hand-dyed in this beautiful cigar brown colour. Dimensions: Height: 82.5 cm adjustable, Width: 65.5 cm, Depth: 64.5 cm, Seat height: 53 cm adjustable. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Pulborough. Condition: please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that vintage and original period items such as leather seating will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual polishing to prevent moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it dries out and discolours.
