Limoges enamels on a copper plaque. The enamels highlight the elegant female figure, possibly Marie Antoinette, Queen of France (1755-1793), of whom there are many portraits. This small portrait shows her in informal, non-ceremonial attire, while remaining elegant and refined. Minor damages and paint losses. The painting is presented in a black frame from the late 19th century.
