Portrait of an elegant 19th century woman

Very nice painting, pastel and mixed technique on paper, representing the portrait in clothes of an elegant woman. We can compare this portrait to the italian princess marie-thérèse of savoy because the original painting in the versailles museum, strongly resembles this young woman with the same clothes, the same posture and the same hat. In addition, it is indicated on the back in pencil cmtesse d'artois. The painting has a modern cream-colored wooden frame, which is not in very good condition, and which deserves to be changed. The subject is very well done, and we see here all the dexterity and talent of the painter to realize the subject and bring out the soul of the character. Condition: the pastel has a small tear at the bottom and a small restoration on one side, as well as small scattered stains due to the quality of the paper used at the time.
