This large 19th-century drawer cabinet is made of solid pine and features an impressive arrangement of 50 small drawers and 5 larger drawers. Originally used as a hardware cabinet in a workshop or shop, it may have also served to store herbs or small items, as evidenced by the remnants of old labels on the drawer fronts. The piece has a strong utilitarian character, typical of work furniture from the era.
