Artisan solid oak round coffee table 1960s

Artisan coffee table handcrafted in Europe during the 1960s. This piece showcases honest craftsmanship, featuring a thick round top supported by an architectural base of angled interlocking legs. At the centre of the tabletop sits a wooden hatch with the original dark weathered iron pull. When lifted you will find an integrated storage compartment hidden within the framework of the table. The wood has gained a rich and deep honey brown colour with an exceptional patina built up over decades. The surface is textured and full of character.
