Library cabinet 1900 Louis XVI style

Old library cabinet louis XVI style 1900 era with a solid oak structure and a geometric walnut veneer. In the lower part, a large drawer opens with a brass shell handle. Four shelves are adjustable as desired on the racks. One of them has two small drawers in magnifying glass to position at the desired height. A cornice richly carved with antique motifs brings a monumental decorative touch, inspired by classical architecture: an antique drape wraps a blind cartouche surmounted by a ribbon and framed by leafy windings. The cornice in the shape of a gendarme's hat is framed by two spinning tops. The columnar uprights and facades are decorated with vertical fluting. two oak panels adorn the back of the library. to be used also in dressing room for sweaters, pants, lingerie baskets, etc. Condition: cleaned, treated but preserved "in its juice".
