Provençal Louis XV style bookcase in solid stained wood circa 1930

Provencal Louis It rests on curved scrolling legs joined by a low scalloped crosspiece carved with foliage and volutes with an imposing plant motif. The leaves are surmounted in a gendarme's hat by a high crosspiece with cartridges carved with volutes joined in the center by a plant motif followed by an ogee cornice decorated with an imposing plant sculpture and accompanied by two bobeches. The moving double-panel sides with flat strips frame an interior covered in red fabric and composed of four shelves. Dimensions: Height: 177 cm. Length: 64 cm and 70 cm with cornice.
