Wrought iron tripod floor lamp from the early 20th century – classical style

Floor lamp in wrought iron, dating from the early 20th century. The tripod base rests on three gestural feet ending in scrolls on the ground, connected by a stretcher adorned with scrollwork and forged arabesques. The main shaft, square in section, is enhanced by a decorative twist at its upper part. The original brass bayonet socket B22 is intact, as is the ivory Bakelite key switch, both of which attest to the authenticity and age of the piece. The overall piece exhibits a dark brown-black patina characteristic of aged wrought iron, with signs of natural wear and oxidation on the edges and reliefs. Condition consistent with its era. Dimensions: height 143 cm, base 58 X 58 cm, weight 15 kg. Designed to accommodate a lampshade of 40 to 50 cm.
