Louis XV tomb commode in marquetry and marble, late 19th century.

Very beautiful tomb commode in Louis XV style dating from the late 19th century. Curved front with three rows of drawers, beautiful work of veneer and marquetry, rich gilded bronze ornamentation with handles, keyholes, corner drops, and feet. It is topped with a very beautiful antique marble top, thick and fully curved to the shape of the commode. The piece has retained a lovely patina and naturally shows some signs of age visible in the photos. The drawers are clean and functional. A very beautiful antique piece, decorative and with a strong presence, equally lovely in a classic interior or mixed with contemporary furniture. Period: late 19th century.
