Reconstituted stone – goddess Hygie

Very pretty head of the goddess hygieia or hygea, daughter of ascelepus, god of medicine and epione. In greek mythology, she is the goddess of health, cleanliness and hygiene. It also symbolizes preventive medicine. This head has a magnificent patina of time and seems to have been forgotten at the bottom of an ocean, with its patina that pulls slightly on the green. It is in good general condition, with an impact on the nose (see photos). The face is decided and feminine, the masterful head port. It is a superb and authentic element of decoration, which can be laid lying down or valued on a quality base.
