Lombard inlaid dresser in Louis XV style with marble top

COD 11577. An elegant mid-20th-century Italian dresser. A commode of excellent quality, in the Lombard Louis XV style, finely inlaid and veneered in walnut, burl, and rosewood. The dresser features an original red French marble top of excellent quality, a good size, and is well-suited for use. This commode, beautifully sized and proportioned, is ideal for a bedroom or living room, featuring three spacious drawers. A unique feature of this piece is the interior of the drawers, also inlaid with fine woods (see photo), a testament to the great care and attention it took to craft it. This curved furniture is adorned with original, finely chiseled burnished bronzes (see photo). This dresser has recently undergone a conservative restoration and polishing. In excellent condition.
