Do you like copper patinated by time. This planter is made for you, the copper has taken on all the shades of the decades: pink copper, brown copper and the verdigris typical of copper oxidation. Of course, with elbow grease and fine steel wool, it will probably regain its original copper color. It is stamped "L. Lecellier Villedieu" underneath, that is to say the copperware that Lucien Lecellier took over from his father in 1930 in Villedieu-les-poêles, a town known for foundry work since the Middle Ages and which had around a hundred copper workshops and factories in the 19th century. According to some sources, the design of this stamp would allow us to date this planter from the 60s to the 80s. It is not damaged or deformed, just the patina of the decades described above and various small marks and stains. It measures 12.5 cm in height, 18 cm in diameter at the opening, 9 cm in diameter at the base.
