Magnificent Art Deco bonnetière in solid oak, with elongated and vertical proportions that give it a particularly striking presence. Its door panel is adorned with a sculpted bas-relief depicting a bouquet of fruits and flowers — grapes, tulips, leaves — set within a diamond-shaped cartouche with cut corners, a refined signature of the decorative vocabulary of the 1930s. The cut brass lock hardware, with its sinuous and ornamental shapes, completes its characterful design. It is topped with a superb red griotte marble shelf veined with white, adding a touch of prestige and warm colour. The interior reveals two light wood shelves, while the turned spindle legs evoke an elegant neoclassical inspiration. The warm patina of the oak reflects a beautiful natural aging, with no apparent restoration — an excellent state of preservation for a piece of this age. H. 137 cm × W. 40 cm — 15 kg. Perfect for adding a touch of history to an entrance, a bedroom, or a hallway, this bonnetière is ready to find its place in your home.
