4x Teak Dining Chairs Hans J. Wegner CH29 Sawbuck

A set of four dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1952, this model CH29P „Sawbuck“ was manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son until the 1970s and was then reissued again 20 years later. Inspired by the sawbucks and saw horses used by carpenters, the chair seamlessly combines angles and curves to create a comfortable seat. Constructed from a teak wooden frame, the chairs feature a curved backrest and tripod style legs, with seats upholstered in black sky leather. The Sawbuck chair has become a design icon since its inception in 1952 and this set of four chairs from the 1960s are a fantastic example of mid century Danish design.
