CH29P Sawbuck Dining Room Chairs, Set of 3

A set of three beautifully shaped 'CH29P Sawbuck' dining chairs, designed by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn in the 1950s; the sawbuck-inspired frame shape takes its cue from the trestle used by furniture makers and carpenters. Made of teak with black skai upholstery, with a small tear in the skai on one of the chairs (see photo 7); despite these traces of use, the chairs remain in good vintage condition overall, with only minor wear and signs of ageing.
