Gyotaku of a cuttlefish, fished in the pertuis d'antioche off the coast of the ile de ré and the ile d'oléron. Made with squid ink on old fabrics. Framed format: 40x60cm --- jr revisits the gyotaku technique by creating, from the ile de ré, unique pieces in squid ink on old textiles. Gyotaku is a japanese art from the 17th century, developed by fishermen who, to immortalize their catch, made an ink print on rice paper.
