Engraving of the nineteenth after hippolyte lalaisse, entitled "field of fair, circumscription of the deposit of stallions of cluny", signed in the plate "hy. Lalaisse". This original engraving is available under glass and framed. A date "1840" appears on the back. The paper shows some bites and freckles. The old setting offers a beautiful patina. The engraving measures 51 cm by 32 cm frame included. François hippolyte delalaisse alias lalaisse, (1810-1884), was a french painter and illustrator. Lalaisse published a large amount of lithographs on regional costumes or uniforms. Much of his work and notes have been lost over time.
