Pair of small blue stoneware lamps by Søholm by Einar Johansen Denmark

A pair of small Danish ceramic table lamps, perfect as bedside lamps. Dark blue glaze with a triangular geometric pattern, accented with light blue and brownish tones. The upper part of the lamps is unglazed and has a very dark brown hue. Model 1036 created by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj (Soholm pottery) on the island of Bornholm, Denmark, in the 1960s-70s. Signed Soholm and the stylised initials EJ for Einar Johansen under the base. The lamps come with new shades and have been re-electrified. In very good condition. Total height with shade: 37 cm.
