Empire period secretary in mahogany and gilded bronze, opening with a drop front revealing an elegant interior fitted with small drawers and shelves. The writing surface, covered in black leather, rests on side brackets and offers a comfortable workspace. The piece features a sober and architectural façade, adorned with gilded bronze decorations of masks and resting on claw feet characteristic of the Empire style. The top is crowned with an original grey veined marble. The interior, refined and functional, includes several drawers with circular bronze handles as well as a storage niche. Very fine quality wood with particularly decorative mahogany grain. French work from the early 19th century, Empire period. Dimensions: Height: 146 cm. Width: 91 cm. Depth: 39 cm.
